In a match valid for the eighth round of the Apertura tournament of the Professional League, Aldosivi and Sarmiento de Junín drew 2 to 2 in Mar del Plata. The home team managed to take the lead with goals from Elías Torres and Franco Ramírez, at 3 and 7 minutes of the first half, respectively. However, Iván Morales and Valentín Burgoa scored for Sarmiento in the 23rd and 37th minutes of the same period.
The draw frustrated Aldosivi, which still cannot win in its return to the top division, accumulating six losses and only two draws, placing it at the bottom of Zone A. Meanwhile, Sarmiento is also not going through its best moment as it has only managed to win one match and is fighting at the lower end of Zone B.
